Calling all young men! 2009 Coca-Cola Pre-College Leadership Program
The 2009 Coca-Cola Pre-College Leadership Program is now accepting applications. Please see the attachments for complete details if you know of young men that would be interested in this program or if you are or know of educators who have students that would be interested. The Coca-Cola Pre-College Leadership Program is one of the premier Morehouse College Summer Academy Programs that is designed to introduce participants to the traits, skills and behaviors necessary for effective 21st century leadership.
“The 2009 Coca-Cola Pre-College Leadership Program is designed to introduce participants to the traits, skills and behaviors necessary for effective 21st century leadership. The curriculum, developed and owned by VisionQuest Association Inc., focuses on personal and interpersonal leadership skills, with an emphasis on the development of character, civility and community. The curriculum is highly interactive and uses indoor and outdoor group activities. Upon completion, participants will have an appreciation for personal responsibility, empathy for others and a vision for the future. Students will visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change and Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, as well as participate in a team-building ropes course at Project Adventure Inc.”
Who Should Apply?
• Male students completing their
sophomore or junior year of high
school by June 2009
• Male students completing their senior
year in high school who have applied
for admission to Morehouse College
for Fall 2009
