SOHH Exclusive: David Banner Revolts Against The Rev, “Fk Al Sharpton…Hes A Permed-Out Pimp” | Daily Hip-Hop News | SOHH.com /
“The next time you see Al Sharpton, tell him I said @#$ him and he can suck my @#$,” an animated David Banner exclaimed. “I might change the name of my album from The Greatest Story Never Told to @#$ Al Sharpton. I hate Al Sharpton. This is the kind of @# that Im talking about. Theyre killing kids in New Jersey and all across the country and all a @#$% got to talk about is rap lyrics? @#$ that about theyre our elders and we gotta respect them. Im tired of this. Theyre like the parents, but the parents are crucifying the kids.”
I knew this was coming. We have serious problem in the community. Many in my generation have it out for its elders, and that is dangerous. You can not think that you are going to effect change by destroying your elders. You will have no future. I recently heard this “Black Bloggers Roundtable” on NPR which, in my opinion, was one sided and unfair because there was no opposing view. This generation is diggin its own grave because like the entertainment and sports industry, they have no genuine connection to ones before them. Conservatives are counting on this and in fact are probably the progenitors of it.

On a recent podcast, I talked about the IC3 Certification. IC3 stands for Internet and Computing Core Certification. This a certification for digital literacy. The business community is using this certification for hiring and promotions. If you are between careers, a high school graduate, college graduate or looking to improve your skills on in the workplace, you should seriously consider getting this certification. Certiport is the testing facilitator and can guide you to a test center in your area. There is a cost for the exam, but it is worth the investment. I just finished my exams, and proud to announce that I am IC3 certified. I am also in the process of obtaining my certification as a Authorized Certiport Instructor.
Don’t hesitate, get your today!

blackagendareport.com – Cynthia McKinney Confronts Corporate Media Malice in Court
“The Black masses have not undergone any political sea change; they have simply been abandoned by their representatives, who have been suborned or terrorized by money and concentrated media and lobby power. Corporations have embraced “diversity” as a weapon. About a decade ago, they realized that their vast wealth empowered them to create an alternative Black political structure, and that there were plenty of Black opportunists eager to be recruited. At this point, corporate victory is all but complete, having neutered Black electoral and traditional institutions in lightning speed.”
I believe that Glenn makes some excellent points especially “diversity as a weapon”. I have seen this personally myself in Arkansas. This is why it is so dangerous that Rupert Murdock is grabbing up the Wall Street Journal, Corporate Conglomerates grabbing up radio stations and the like. It’s not about diversity in the sense of having blacks in these companies, but what are their motives? I concur with him about Albert Wynn of Maryland. Mr. Wynn sided with the telcos on the net neutrality issue basically repeating their rhetoric of why they should take over the internet. We need to keep our eyes open on this one because the election is just around the corner.
