NBC finds formula for fighting piracy

NBC finds formula for fighting piracy | News – Digital Media – CNET News.

Hello all.  I am back posting.  Yeah, I’ve been away from the blog for a while.  Work, and some grad courses have been taking up my time.  I found this interesting article about NBC sticking their chest out about their new anti-piracy technology.

I give it 30 days, tops!

ITunes: NBC Wants iTunes to Block Pirated Content from iPods

Somebody wants to come back home, but this ain’t the Bible.  This is what happens when you break off with #1 retailer of digital music to go it alone, and basically telling them  what to do with themselves in the process, only to find out your new venture sucks!    PS- There is no fatted calf. Oink, oink.

SOHH Exclusive: David Banner Revolts Against The Rev,

SOHH Exclusive: David Banner Revolts Against The Rev, “Fk Al Sharpton…Hes A Permed-Out Pimp” | Daily Hip-Hop News | SOHH.com /

“The next time you see Al Sharpton, tell him I said @#$ him and he can suck my @#$,” an animated David Banner exclaimed. “I might change the name of my album from The Greatest Story Never Told to @#$ Al Sharpton. I hate Al Sharpton. This is the kind of @# that Im talking about. Theyre killing kids in New Jersey and all across the country and all a @#$% got to talk about is rap lyrics? @#$ that about theyre our elders and we gotta respect them. Im tired of this. Theyre like the parents, but the parents are crucifying the kids.”

I knew this was coming.  We have  serious problem in the community. Many in my generation have it out for its elders, and that is dangerous.  You can not think that you are going to effect change by destroying your elders.  You will have no future. I recently  heard this “Black Bloggers Roundtable” on NPR which, in my opinion,  was one sided and unfair because there was no opposing view.  This generation is diggin  its own grave because like the entertainment  and sports industry, they have no genuine connection to ones before them.  Conservatives are counting on this and in fact are probably the progenitors of it.
